One bag, three ways to carry it, forty litres of room to be indecisive
A travel bag has to survive a lot of different rooms. An airport. A train aisle. A hotel lift where you'd rather it were a duffel than a backpack. Most bags pick one of those and make you cope with the rest.

Now the trade-off I always mention with heavier fabrics: robustness costs grams. This is not the lightest 40L on the market. The styling is the last piece and it's not incidental. It's clean and slightly retro, in colourways that don't scream. It looks correct in a city and correct on a trailhead, which is a rare combination in a bag this practical.
